A turkey butcher 'feared for her life' before fatally hitting her girlfriend with a horse figurine and cutting her body into two pieces more than 15 years ago, she has told a murder trial. The pair had moved to the UK from Poland and were in a sexual relationship when Ms Zablocka died. In August 2010, Ms Zablocka, 30, who was a mother of a young daughter, suddenly stopped contacting her family, the court heard. Podedworna, who said she tried to push Ms Zablocka away, thought "that was the end... that she would kill me". Podedworna then placed Ms Zablocka's body in plastic bin bags and buried her in a hole in the garden, the court heard.
