The Fate of the Furious will be the first full installment of the franchise since founding Furious team-member and guiding light Paul Walker died in a freakish off-set automobile accident in 2013. It's not every day that you get to see Dame Helen Mirren mixing it up on the red carpet, or at an afterparty, with Vin Diesel. But a curious series of events last year, and this, involving the series' most bankable stars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and producer/actor Diesel, have the close Furious-watchers in a tizzy. Tensions reportedly rose during the hundred-day shoot in Atlanta last year, triggered by Diesel's reported chronic lateness to his scenes. Except, reportedly, for the Rock, who was more than slightly dismayed that Diesel showed up late for one of his, the Rock's, last scenes with Diesel.
