GEORGE TOWN: A businessman has been remanded for four days after a brawl with a friend on Saturday (May 25). The remand order was handed down when the 54-year-old suspect was brought before assistant court registrar Muhammad Azam Eusoff on Tuesday (May 28). The police managed to track down and arrest three men believed to be involved in the case. George Town OCPD Asst Comm Che Zaimani Che Awang said the suspect confessed that he struck the victim with a piece of glass because the victim did not pay his debt. The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code.
