KUALA LUMPUR (April 10): Business leaders need to foster a "play to win" mentality in order to stay ahead in the rapidly-changing environment, instead of becoming a "hostage" or a victim to the disruptive changes happening in the world, says organisational and clinical psychologist George Kohlrieser. "Playing to win is often a big misunderstood concept. Playing to win doesn't mean that you beat somebody. They will not focus on what they will lose and that's what 'playing to win' means," he said. He managed to make a connection with the hostage taker after saying "Sam, is this how you want your children to remember you?"
