The device tax has survived as Republican health-care overhauls have failed, and Congress hasn’t implemented the NIH cuts. Both companies say they will likely mobilize employees on tax overhaul. This year for the first time, every workplace event features elected officials, after experiments last year proved the approach’s effectiveness.
