KUALA LUMPUR: It is business as usual for e-commerce platform Shopee during the movement control order (MCO) period, with Shopee Mart offering around 10,000 types of products for daily necessities for purchase by Malaysian consumers. E-commerce falls under the retail category, one of the essential services that can remain open for business during the MCO period. Ho said, “This is Shopee’s bid to support the government’s MCO and play a bigger role in reducing the spread of Covid-19. At this juncture, we urge Malaysians to stay calm and we pledge to provide our best service in this time of need. “We hope that together with all Malaysians, we will be able to overcome this challenge.”
