Business and community awards night to return after four-year hiatus

More than 200 guests will attend the prize giving for Maidenhead and Windsor Business and Community Awards on Friday (September 22). Four community awards have been added to the prize roster and will honour the contribution made by individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Jeremy Spooner, chief executive of Baylis Community Media, said the awards would not have been possible without the support of sponsors and is looking forward to a night of celebration. Prizes up for grabs in the community awards section include ‘Young Hero Award’, the ‘Community Project of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Community’. Businesses in the borough will also be celebrated in categories covering ‘Best business start-up’ as well as ‘Best Covid bounce-back’.
