Busia schools fail to register As in KCSE for third year in a row


Busia schools have for the third year in a row failed to register a single A grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination. The last time schools in the county registered As in KCSE was in 2015. Sigalame led in Busia with four students getting A-, Butula Boys had three whereas Nambale Boys had two students with A- (minus). The most improved student in the county is Okumu Oketch Stephen from Bumala AC who registered an A- of 75 points. Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong introduced laptops for all students who scored As in 2014 KCSE.
