Auckland Transport said it did not know what drivers were protesting about. A number of bus services from West Auckland that were disrupted due to a protest by drivers are back in operation. Early on Friday, Auckland Transport said New Zealand Bus services in Swanson would not be operating until after 8am. Its spokesman, Mark Hannan, said New Zealand Bus staff were holding a protest at the Swanson depot but he did not know what they were campaigning about. New Zealand Bus has been approached for comment.
