Bola Bamigbola, OsogboTwo 18-passenger buses conveying miners to Ifewara, a town in the Atakumosa East Central Local Council Development Area of Osun State were on Thursday intercepted along Ilesha-Akure Expressway. The chairman of the LCDA, Busuyi Makanjuola, said, “The two buses carried youths, who are miners from Zamfara and Kaduna states. The buses had successfully entered the state before we intercepted them along Ilesha-Akure Expressway and asked them to go back. We didn’t allow them in.”Speaking further on the development, the chairman, Ilesha North East Local Council Development Authority, Imo, Ilesha, Oladipo Adeniyi, told The PUNCH that the buses were caught following a tip-off. The chairmen of Atakumosa East, Ilesha North East, Atakumosa West Central, and Atakumosa East Central were all there.
