MRT Corp did plan to construct a pedestrian walkway over the LDP from the station to Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Unfortunately, this plan was strongly objected to by some residents of Taman Tun Dr Ismail as well as the residents’ association. As for the writer’s comments on the feeder bus route, MRT Corp and Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, which operates the SBK Line, are currently monitoring the routing of the service. As the SBK Line is not yet completely open, it is currently very difficult to gauge the full extent of the demand of the feeder bus service. Once the SBK Line is completely operational by the end of July this year, Prasarana would then be able to make the necessary adjustments to the routes and schedules to match supply with demand.
