BALIK PULAU: A bus driver claimed trial in the Magistrate's Court here to a charge of driving under the influence of drugs, resulting in the death of a 16-year-old part-time pizza delivery boy. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs around 6.30pm last Thursday (Nov 7). If convicted, he faces a jail term of between three and 10 years along with a maximum fine of RM20,000. He also set Dec 5 for mention, pending reports on the post-mortem, and reports from the Chemistry Department and Puspakom.
