Emergency services are at the scene of a crash between bus and car on the Te Anau - Milford Highway in Southland. Police said it appeared the car and bus collided and there were reports of fires in both vehicles. Everyone was out of the bus according to reports from the scene and there were some minor injuries, police said. The people who were injured have been taken to a Te Anau medical centre, police said. Police said passengers who were aboard the bus had been picked up by other nearby buses.
