Nakuru - The driver of a 47-seater bus involved in a horrendous collision with a 14-seater matatu on Tuesday, January 9, has been arrested. The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) said the bus driver was on the wrong before the accident. "The driver of the bus fled after the accident and we have launched a manhunt for him. During the accident, Eight adults and seven children died in the matatu while 45 passengers in the bus sustained injuries. The bus driver who was on the way to Nairobi from Busia is said to have stopped the vehicle midtrip in Sitotwet, Kericho and escaped; the tout followed him moments later.
