Bike riders take to the streets for the Invercargill Street Race as part of the 2020 Burt Munro Challenge. For Burt Munro Challenge organisor Craig Hyde it felt like they were nearing "crisis" point earlier in the week, but he says what has eventuated is another spectacular event. The 2020 Burt Munro Challenge, held from Wednesday through to Sunday, attracted 550 competitors, while it's estimated 2000-plus people registered for the overall rally. Hyde said there would be an event debrief in the coming weeks before the committee quickly turned its focus to starting to plan for the 2021 Burt Munro Challenge.
