KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened on a positive note today, supported by mild buying interests for the local stocks, a dealer said. At 9.08am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 1.04 points better at 1,750.03 from Tuesday’s close of 1,748.99. The market was closed on Wednesday for Deepavali holiday. On the broader market, gainers outpaced losers by 124 to 60, with 194 counters unchanged, 1,474 untraded and 19 others were suspended. Turnover stood at 96.76 million shares worth RM36.02 million.
