Burnley hope to sign Lee Chung-yong from Crystal Palace


Burnley are hoping to secure the South Korea midfielder Lee Chung-yong from Crystal Palace as they seek to strengthen for their return to the Premier League. Lee, a £700,000 signing from Bolton Wanderers in January 2015, has only ever enjoyed a bit-part role at Selhurst Park having made 20 appearances in all competitions. Burnley have yet to make a signing since securing promotion back to the top flight after claiming the Championship. Lee, who spent five and a half years at Bolton, is likely to cost them around £1m. The player is currently with the Palace squad in the United States, where they began a three-match tour with a 0-0 draw with Philadelphia Union on Wednesday.
