Burnley fan Jake Hepple has claimed responsibility for the banner (Getty/Facebook)A Burnley fan has claimed responsibility for arranging a ‘White Lives Matter’ banner to be flown over the Etihad Stadium on Monday evening. The plane flew overhead just moments after Manchester City and Burnley’s players had taken a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Mr Hepple wrote: ‘I’d like to take this time to apologise… to absolutely f***ing nobody!
