Donna Kessler and husband Dieter check out these eight-foot tall tamarack trees, which are among 200 trees the City of Burlington gave away during their Earth Day event out front Central Arena. Electric Vehicles (EVs) were available for test driving, 200 trees were given away for free and a citywide cleanup was held. Residents were able to test drive EVs and ask questions as part of an education event held by Plug’ n Drive. “They only had so much inventory and they're all gone, but there will be more of these - more free trees. We put $200,000 a year into giving away trees to help both people and the city plant trees.
