BurgerFuel is opening its first store in the midwest of the United States after fears its expansion plans would never take place. The death of Subway founder Fred DeLuca a year ago created significant challenges which delayed the launch of BurgerFuel in the US. Despite the relationship ending, the Franchise Brands group will continue to hold 10 per cent in BurgerFuel Worldwide and also maintain its position on the BurgerFuel board.
