GettyThere are two major franchise brand names synonymous with fast-food burger takeaways – Burger King and McDonald’s. Back in 2015, Burger King Brazil deliberately targeted McDonald’s superfans and somehow managed to convince them to get their new rival to the Big Mac, the King Burger, tattooed on their arms. In order to get the deal, customers had to download the Burger King app onto their phones. It apparently generated a quite literally whopping 1.5 million downloads, making the Burger King app the No. All of the above show that Burger King is clearly not afraid to antagonise its competitors to its own economic advantage.
