Our findings confirmed the previous evidence on the roles of metabolic, behavioral, and environmental factors in the mortality from T2DM. Based on our findings, the most important risk factor for T2DM mortality is due to high Fasting Blood Glucose [FPG]. In the present study, we shed light on the ranking of risk factors attributed to mortality from T2DM for each country in the region.
