A section of a village road is set to close for up to 11 weeks so work can be done to address historic flooding issues. Bunwell Street in Bunwell will be temporarily closed to traffic between its junction with Mile Road and Hall Road to its junction with North Road from July 15. The works on Bunwell Street in Bunwell will begin on July 15. Bus services inclusive of school services will also be diverted around the temporary closure as necessary and pedestrian access through the closure will also be maintained. The work, which will cost £210,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
