Residents of Nasianda village in Bumula constituency are shocked at the action of a man who has married off his daughter in exchange of chang'aa and busaa. According to the agreement, the man will be drinking two bottles of chang'aa every day until the dowry is completed. Ostiula asked police to get hold of the man and ensure the girl, who was married off unwillingly, is taken back to school. Otsiula said the man should be taken to court to serve as an example to others who may have the same behaviour. The shocking incident has irked area leaders including MP Boniface Otsiula, who has demanded that the man be arrested.
