With a commendable track record of performance as a BOM teacher, Juma remains puzzled as to why he has not been absorbed into the Teacher Service Commission (TSC). Sharing his story with TUKO.co.ke, he said,"I lost hope when I lasted for ten years without securing any slot in government employment." The aspiring teacher believes that, given the opportunity, he can positively impact Kenyan children's lives and contribute to the country's educational goals. Eighteen thousand vacancies are for Junior Secondary Schools and 2,000 in primary schools to support the implementation of the Competency Base Curriculum (CBC).
