Destiny 2 BungieIt’s been well-established at this point that Bungie wants to grow as a newly independent studio, and that means expanding beyond focusing on Destiny and Destiny alone. Bungie has received a $100 million investment from Chinese gaming company NetEase, which most assumed would mean they eventually would make some sort of mobile game geared at the Asian market. It doesn’t sound like a mobile game, nor does it sound like anything remotely close to Destiny. A “hopeful new game world.”A competitive game. Bungie wants to be Blizzard or BioWare in their glory days with multiple beloved franchises, and no, Destiny alone probably cannot get them there.
