Bundi district collector Shivangi Swarnkar on Friday received a death threat letter via post on photocopy of a letterhead of an advocate practicing in Bundi district. The death threat letter was opened on Saturday following which it was handed over to the police which instantly initiated investigation into the matter. “A handwritten letter with threat to life to Bundi district collector Shivangi Swarnkar on the photocopy of letterhead of a prominent practicing advocate in Bundi district court with no under signature and dateline was received through post at Bundi district collector’s office,” CI Bundi city police station Ramnath Singh said. The letter warns Bundi district collector to sort out the ongoing Maandhata Balaji Puja issue on Tiger Hilltop immediately or to face threat to life, the CI said.
