This will be the first of Europe’s top-five leagues to resume, with the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 still on hold. Several Bundesliga clubs, including champions Bayern Munich, returned to training this week but Germany’s social-distancing measures were observed in all sessions and players worked in small groups. AdvertisementAdvertisementTen individuals tested positive for Covid-19 and are now isolating, but players at the same clubs can continue to train. The Bundesliga has nine matchdays remaining and the current aim is to finish the campaign by June 30.
