KUALA LUMPUR: The Semenanjung Malaysia Malay Express Bus Entrepreneurs Association (Pembawa) has voiced its support for the proposal to not increase toll rates on Plus network of highways. According to the association’s secretary Wan Safri Wan Ali, the business itself is already full of challenges and its 15 bus operators with 500 buses operating nationwide, are already struggling. “Recently, Maju Holdings had proposed to buy Plus and has pledged not to increase toll charges. He said this move could positively impact not only Bumiputera entrepreneurs but also all Malaysians and Malaysian road users. “The question is whether the proposal by Maju Holdings will be accepted and implemented?
