CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The 35-year-old Bukidnon man, who has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing, cooking and eating his neighbor in October, now faces a murder complaint, according to the police. In a subsequent report, the police said Villegas, 35, butchered Ma before cooking and eating his flesh. The last time that cannibalism was reported in Bukidnon was during World War II. Bellezas said last September, depression also drove a Bukidnon mother to hack her three children. The difference with Villegas’ case was that the woman did not try to cannibalize her children but attempted to commit suicide instead.
