KOLKATA: Two people including a woman were rescued from the debris of an old building which collapsed in central Kolkata on Tuesday.They were later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.The portion of a dilapidated building in the congested central Kolkata collapsed at around 1.15pm.Firemen, disaster management squad and civic demolition squad were working at the spot to demolish the perilous building.The police have started requesting people on the public address system to clear the area for the rescue work to begin.
