Firefighters were called to Darlington Road, Ngatea, on Monday evening. Four fire engines have been sent to a building in flames in Ngatea. Fire and Emergency crews were called to the Darlington Road building about 7.15pm on Monday. Firefighters received just one 111 call but the building was well ablaze when firefighters arrived, northern communications shift manager Mark Richards said. There was no information to suggest that people were inside when the fire broke out.
