Awobodu said this in a statement titled ‘NIOB inducts new fellows, demands professionalism in building construction’ issued on Saturday. According to the statement, he said this during the virtual induction of NIOB members into its fellowship cadre. He said the country stood to gain optimally when it realised that building production management was a distinct professional service rendered by builders. Awobodu said only registered builders were charged by Nigerian law with building construction, maintenance, and deconstruction.
