Odili said Buhari conveyed the directive to the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio. The order is coming barely 24 hours after the abandoned students protested at the Nigeria High Commission office in London. During the protest, which held at the Nigeria High Commission in London, the aggrieved scholars displayed placards with various inscriptions. In a video of the protest shared online, the protesters insisted on speaking with the President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), or the Minister of the NDDC, Godswill Akpabio.
