July 14President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday night met with former aspirants in the recently concluded gubernatorial primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti State and members of the South West Caucus of the party, charging them to work together for to achieve victory for the party inelection. Speaking over dinner with the political stakeholders, he expressed delight that the former aspirants had come together after the primary which was won by Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Kayode Fayemi. The president warned that the will of the people must be protected, saying that the values of Ekiti State must be restored. He charged the political stakeholders to work hard to retrieved the state from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The Caucus and the former aspirants were led to the meeting by National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
