PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of All Progressives Congress and former Vice-president, Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party must accept the outcome of the 2019 presidential election to avoid bloodshed in the country. He spoke the 9th annual Independence lecture with the theme: “The Nigeria of our Dream,” organised by The Change we NEED Nigeria Initiative. He said: “The first thing is that the election must be peaceful, an election where nobody dies. We believe that in democracy the outcome should reflect the will of the people and that is our prayers for this election. “Whatever is the ultimate outcome of all of these elections, local election, state elections and national elections, the losers should accept defeat and move on.
