Guerrero, who signed as an international free agent by the Jays in 2015, has developed quicker than anyone anticipated. The Jays expect great things from the son of Hall of Famer Vlad Sr., but he’s exceeded those expectations. He’s a teenager who was promoted to Triple-A without anyone suggesting that it’s been a rush job. So the move to Triple-A Buffalo is no rush job. The fans at Coca-Cola Field were not impressed, booing Suarez for his refusal to challenge the Bisons’ newcomer in an 11-8 Buffalo loss to Philly’s Triple-A affiliate.
