As a first step for initiating the budget preparation process, officials from the Shangla district attended a session on budget preparation forms, methods to enhance budget credibility and effectiveness through needs-assessment exercise, procurement planning and citizen engagement. The training had been organised by SNG on Tuesday. In a statement, SNG said that participants were trained on conducting needs-assessment of service delivery institutions.
