"And the underlying real growth in public spending that is outlined in yesterday's Budget hasn't changed from the spending review we did a few months ago. "And what those plans show is huge investment in public services over the course of this parliament. We've already increased public spending on day-to-day public services and capital by almost £70bn a year more than when were first elected.
