Meanwhile, the overall budget allocation for health services has been proposed to raised by 23% to Tk29,247 crore compared to the revised allocation for the current fiscal year. The health sector allocation in FY21 includes Tk6,363 crore on health education and family welfare. The rest, Tk 22,884 crore, will be spent on health services giving a priority to activities undertaken to combat Covid-19. The allocation for this purpose in FY2020-21 is Tk 41,027 crore.
