A Buddhist monk was hacked to death in Khagrachhari town early on Monday. He was the principal of Dharmasukh Buddhist monastery of the town. The mobile phones of the monk and some valuables of the monastery have been missing. The locals expressed anger over the killing of the Buddhist monk. Thousands of people gathered the Gugrachari Dharmasukh Buddhist Monastery near the Khagrachhari-Rangamati Road in the morning after hearing the news of the murder.
