Buddha relics draw devotees to Gangaramaya View(s):Tens of thousands of Buddhist devotees from across the country are visiting Colombo’s Gangaramaya temple to pay homage to sacred relics of the Buddha brought from Gujarat, India, as part of an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The relics, discovered during excavations in the 1960s at the historic Devnimori site in Gujarat, will remain at the temple until February 11.
