Kenya's new police spokesman Bruno Isohi Shioso. [Courtesy]Former Criminal Investigations Officer Bruno Isohi Shioso is the new police spokesman. Shioso replaces Charles Owino, who has been moved to the Kenya National Focal Point on Small Arms and Light Weapons, Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai announced Tuesday. According to Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime, Shioso is currently on secondment to the United Nations Police (UNPOL), heading the Serious and Organized Crime Team (SOC). His predecessor Owino was moved to Small Arms and Light Weapons as a Deputy Director, in changes announced on May 8.
