Rokiah MahmudDespite no new cases of COVID-19 and no infections for about three weeks, Brunei Darussalam is observing precautionary measures as the virus is still considered a threat. The government is currently in the first phase of the de-escalation plan to lift restrictions by a gradual reduction of social distancing measures. To date, 264,258 users and 4,876 companies and businesses have registered for theBruHealth application. Senior citizens are also trying to adapt to the use of the latest technology, to cope with thenew norms. With these new norms in place, the local community is developing an awareness of their surroundings, along with responsible behaviours in helping the government and the MoH to curb the transmission of COVID-19 in the country.
