A girl sipped a Unicorn Frappuccino beverage at a Texas Starbucks in April. The resulting drink, dubbed the Unicorn Latte, is the subject of a lawsuit between the End’s parent company, Montauk Juice Factory Inc., and Starbucks Corp. A Unicorn Latte at the End Brooklyn, a small coffee shop in Williamsburg. In an interview, Madeleine Murphy, co-founder and chief visionary officer of Montauk Juice, declined to comment on the lawsuit. Katie Dalebout, 27, said when she first heard about Starbucks’s unicorn drink she wondered if it, too, contained superfoods such as the algae.
