Britney Spears' lawyer asks court to end conservatorship this fall, reveals prenup plans

Britney Spears is formally asking the court to put an end to her 13-year conservatorship once and for all. Based on newly filed documents obtained by Fox News on Wednesday, Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, explains that he actually sides with Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, on the account that the conservatorship should end immediately. "If Ms. Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should get that chance," Rosengart writes in the filing. BRITNEY SPEARS IN NO RUSH TO WED SAM ASGHARI AFTER ‘OVERDUE’ ENGAGEMENT: REPORT"By way of illustration, Mr. Spears had no training in matters of economics or finance," the filing states. Relatedly, although our investigation is ongoing and further investigation is warranted, Mr. Spears’s mismanagement of Ms. Spears’s Estate is evident and ongoing."
