British farmers are warning that unless the government takes steps to ease deep labour shortages, there could be a cull of up to 150,000 pigs. Ministers say the world is facing a global shortage of truck drivers and that they are working to ease the crisis. Though there are shortages of truck drivers in other countries, EU members have not seen fuel shortages.
