Brit Caroline Crouch, who was strangled by her Greek husband Charalambos "Babis" Anagnostopoulos, had reportedly told a mental health professional that she suspected he had another woman in his life. At the time Anagnostopoulos told police robbers had broken in and killed her, but he eventually confessed to his horrific crime after more than eight hours of interrogation. “In January, Caroline began to suspect that her husband may have returned to one of the women he knew before their marriage,” Ms Mylonopoulou said. Caroline described her husband as an authoritarian who cut her off from her loved ones.
