British man missing in Paparoa National Park foundROLI BIRRERA 28-year-old British man missing on the South Island's West Coast has been found. Two helicopters with heat-seeking devices and 15 ground searchers had been looking for the man, who was missing in Paparoa National Park since Saturday. West Coast area commander Inspector Mel Aitken said the man would be taken by helicopter to Grey Base Hospital, where he would be assessed for mild hypothermia. His family are still travelling to New Zealand to be with him and are due to arrive on the West Coast on Tuesday. "I would like to thank searchers and the helicopter crews for their commitment over the past two days," Aitken said.
