Nine kit bags belonging to the British swim team were stolen Thursday, according to Sky Sports. Several Australian athletes had items stolen from their rooms after they evacuated their building during a small fire at the Athletes’ Village last week. Apparently the team won’t have trouble replacing the stolen speedos and other gear. And a Chinese athlete perhaps had the worst experience in Rio: a thief feigning to be drunk vomited on him. It’s the latest in a string of thefts affecting athletes at the Games.
